My 40-year love of fabrics has taken me to many places. I began sewing my own clothes when I was in grammar school along with the clothes for the model down the street. In high school I learned the fine art of tailoring. For a senior project I made stuffed animals for the children's ward at a local hospital with loving care and thought. In college I found designing, dyeing, spinning, weaving, felting, and costuming which led me to begin working for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's costume department. In 1979 I discovered Brazilian embroidery and developed a love for the art. My first flowers were applied to a piece of velvet, which evolved into my first beautiful pouch. With the many compliments that I received I launched Capricorn Creations and began selling pouches year round. I am pleased that you found my website and I hope that my product will bring you many years of joy.
